From Beaumont: Homeless Issue

November 15, 2025

New business opening on Calder already has a broken window before opening. Additional photos include a gentleman standing on the corner of Forest and Calder (across the street from my business). Last photos are the continual loitering on the sidewalk across the street from my business. The Laurels have a wedding venue on Calder and we worked to remove the homeless from across the street. Slowly, they have returned. It has been proven on several occasions that the homeless can be moved from businesses in the past. I do not understand why it stops. Why do you make them move on occasion and ignore the violations on other occasions.

From Beaumont: Downtown Issues

November 14, 2025

Ya, Ya, the bond issue will solve all of downtown's problems. Read this, Mr. Klein: This past Saturday four homeless individuals broke out into a fight. They were screaming and yelling, one was swinging a long stick while another tried to defend herself. This incident took place on the side of Some Other Place and escalated and was persuade across Calder in front of my store. My customer had smaller children that went to wait in the car. The four young children ran back in the store to let their mother know they were scared. This is an ongoing problem that is enforced at times and ignored at other times. You have signs posted that the homeless and police both ignore. The city is picking up trash that the Salvation Army and Some Other Place should be picking up. I PICK UP THE TRASH ON AND AROUND MY PROPERTY. We as business owners need to get together and see what we can do as a community to help ourselves.

From Beaumont: Question About Hate

November 13, 2025

You mention in this article that it's just one big spew of hate, then you go on in your own article spewing hate on these protestors. So, in your opinion, statements and actions, should hate be spewed by any side?

From Beaumont: Community Failing

November 10, 2025

If any Beaumont citizen wants to know why their community is failing, just need to look no further than tonites football game between PNG & United. There are more players & band members than fans on the visitor side! I have no words, just hope…… Hope that this community sees this & is proactive in helping themselves. God Bless America
